Mattebox gives you fast access the adjustments you use most, like exposure, saturation and color balance. When you want more control, just swipe up on the image to reveal more adjustments. Once you learn where your favorite adjustments are, you’ll be able to fine-tune an image in seconds.

New aesthetic filters arrive regularly in the Feed—if you like one, just double tap to collect it in your Favorites!

Every filter is editable, so if you apply a filter but the contrast is not quite right, you can simply adjust it (some adjustments require Mattebox Pro). Like your change? Save it as a new filter! You can even share it as an App Clip, no install required.

Mattebox makes all of your images look their best, but for the ultimate quality, shoot ProRAW or RAW photos (using the Camera app, Halide or Adobe Lightroom). When you open a RAW file, Mattebox strips away the AI-powered local tone mapping, giving you a less processed, more natural image.

RAW photos also take full advantage of the custom imaging core in Mattebox, which is based on the way analog film responds to light. Just like classic film stocks from Fuji, Kodak and Ilford, Mattebox rolls off highlights beautifully, so you can increase exposure without blowing out your highlights.

Whether you’re making reels or shooting your next indie film, Mattebox has you covered. You don’t have to be an expert in color grading to make your videos pop! You can use all the same Mattebox tools and filters on standard 4K HDR video or Apple ProRes Log footage.

Once you develop a look, use Mattebox Pro to export a LUT for use in your editing system (compatible with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and many more) or camera (check your camera manual; LUT support varies).
