Experience the timeless music and legacy of Bryan Adams like never before with Back to You: An Acoustic Tribute to Bryan Adams at The Rhumbelow Theatre, Durban, from March 21-23. Rob and Garth Warren of The Black Lapels bring their signature acoustic style to the songs that have defined a generation, delivering a fresh yet heartfelt homage to one of rock’s greatest icons. This one-of-a-kind performance revisits Bryan Adams’ greatest hits, from Summer of ’69 to (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, reimagined with stripped-back arrangements that capture the raw emotion and storytelling at the heart of his music. Do you remember our universally popular Springbok Radio with its plethora of music shows and quiz shows? Do you recall the vast numbers of plays, serials, and series? Do you remember, above all, the comedies that could help to lift your spirits at the end of a hard day? Come and spend a nostalgic evening at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Durban North on Sunday, March 23 with Frank Graham, one of South Africa’s most versatile character actors and comedians as he re-invokes those memories with his hugely popular brand of humour. A family fete with Assitej SA is being held in celebration of Francophonie and World Theatre Day at the Alliance Française in Morningside on Saturday, March 29, from 09:00 to midday. There will be dance, music and theatre performances. Coffee, cold drinks, French pastries, and light meals will be available at the coffee shop, O ROAST Lab.
