The Hoplite Active Browser Security Extension is used to help keep clients safe without requiring VPNs, or other invasive software. This extension helps protect you against online threats, such as links in phishing emails and websites designed to trick you into downloading and installing malicious software that can harm your computer.

While you are surfing on the internet, malicious links and phishing URLs are everywhere. So this extension helps you block those phishing urls and malicious links easily.
Using Hoplite's Active Security Extension will also provide the following benefits for your browsing:

Malvertising Protection
Web advertisements are being increasingly used as vehicles for distributing malware.
A legitimate ad can be infected by a virus or a fraudulent ad can be introduced into a network that places ads on web sites.

Faster Browsing
