GeoShred Control Version 7 is a stand-alone MIDI/MPE controller based on GeoShred.

***NOTE: "GeoShred Control" IS AN MIDI/MPE CONTROLLER AND DOES NOT HAVE A BUILT-IN AUDIO ENGINE AND DOES NOT MAKE SOUND unless upgraded to the functionality of GeoShred Pro. If you own GeoShred Pro (Green Icon) you did NOT need GeoShred Control because GeoShred Pro has MIDI***

GeoShred Control can be used to control GeoShred Studio for MacOS.

You can use GeoShred Control to perform MIDI/MPE synthesizers. Seamlessly move between fretless and diatonic modalities in a magical musical way using our isomorphic and diatonic playing surface and groundbreaking intelligent pitch rounding.

GeoShred Control is highly expressive when controlling instruments that use the “MPE” MIDI specification (MIDI Polyphonic Expression). It’s a formidable iPad/iPhone based MIDI/MPE controller, and GeoShred Control can operate as a AUv3 plugin that can send MIDI.

GeoShred Control has an arpeggiator, support for temperaments/world scales, backing tracks, and 3D touch (on devices that support 3D touch) and you can upgrade*** to GeoShred Pro with it's powerful physical model of stringed instruments.

Confusing interface and lots of bugs

I’ve lost a lot of time because of little bugs like the midi port selector which does not work, unless you enable all ports. When I choose CC1 as a modulation, it sends a CC4! Seems like beta quality software… The GUI is very confusing and it’s hard to find where are the settings you need.

Please help us find these to help the whole GeoShred community. I just tested sending CC1 from the preset "MIDI Out: MIDI Out Control" and it's correctly sending CC1. I'd love to understand how this is happening for you. BTW, using a review for technical support does not work well. Your review has a 1-3 day delay before it's posted to us and my response back to you will take 1-3 days. Really, it's better to reach out to us directly, rather than trying to repurpose a review as a bug report. You can reach us directly at support@moforte.com, or in GeoShred, just tap on "Menu> Help> Report A problem". We usually respond in 20 min during working hours in California and within about 8 hours if its late in the evening. No need for you to waste a bunch of time. Help is just a click away.
