Version 2.9.0

This update includes a major overhaul to group chats, making them more reliable and setting the stage for new features in the future. Group admins will need to recreate their group chats once the new Groups v2 architecture is enabled on 19th March at 22:00 UTC, and old groups will become read-only on 2nd April at 22:00 UTC. Groups v2 includes:
• More reliable messaging – Enjoy a smoother and more consistent group chat experience.
• Improved syncing – Group-wide settings, like disappearing messages, now sync more reliably across all members' devices.
• Easier group management – Resend group invitations and manage members with greater ease.
• Simpler group creation – Creating a new group is now more seamless, reducing issues like duplicate groups.

two safety problems!

1 - when we send a message with a timer, it is most of the time deleted for us before the other participant in the chat because it starts counting for them since they see it while counting for me since i have sent it, that prevents me at some point of deleting my message because i can't see it anymore while it is already there in the other participant's chat, so it would be very appreciated if timers work together and start counting for all participants at the same time so everyone is seeing the same chat, like make it count since both participants have seen it or since it is sent even if the other participant haven't seen it, because that problem makes me delete unseen messages before it is disappeared for me so i don't lose control over it. / 2 - enabling voice calls warns me about IP reveal, hope that would change soon so i can use this amazing app for calls too. / thank you all.

1. The disappearing messages timer starts for each participant once they've read the message. If one user is offline but the other is online, then the offline user may never see the message if the timer is set to the same time. 2. Yes, calls are only in beta at the moment. We will be improving this in the future, but the current release is no worse than any other calling app (WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram etc).
