These games were designed & developed by an ardent casino player who plays 3-4 times every week. No worries if you do not know how to play. Each game includes detailed instructions and rules as well as descriptions of the possible poker hands and the related payouts. Already a player? You're going to love being able to "sit at the table" and practice your technique.
Each game includes its own separate set of achievements for you to tackle as you are building up your bankroll and you will periodically be rewarded with bonus chips throughout the day.

To top it off, the developer personally reviews ALL feedback and acts upon it. If you have suggestions, submit them! Many of the current games were introduced in response to Player feedback.

What’s New
Version 65.2.5
First, I want to apologize to the RBG Player Community for the bug that was addressed in the previous release. The bug caused a game to "lock up" if you accessed the Chip Store, Preferences, How to Play, or the Pay Table. I was truly humbled by the many supportive messages that advised me "not to stress" while I worked with Apple to get the fix released.
I'm hope it's clear to the RBG Player Community (and anyone who reads my review responses) that Riverboat Gambler was not developed by a huge software company. I'm just one (old) guy who created an app that I could use to play Mississippi Stud on my iPhone. I do the design, the coding, and the testing by myself. Despite having been in the software development space for 40+ years, this app is my first mobile app. That there are now 68 games in this casino simulator is mind-boggling. I never expected that I would be collaborating with such an amazing community and growing this app like I have.
Riverboat Gambler has evolved into an amazing casino games simulator that helps folks learn how to play (or deal) a new game (or practice a favorite game) before they walk into a real casino for real gambling. Cards and hands and dice and spins are completely random; just like the ShuffleMaster machines. In many cases, practicing in RBG may highlight just how high the House Edge is in a game and Players may want to avoid that game in a real casino.
This is a minor release to update some supporting libraries and change the version number so it doesn't contain a "double dot"; nothing truly critical.
I learned a valuable lesson with the prior release that resulted in a major bug impacting the app for almost a week. For that reason, I am going to become more disciplined in testing each release and will likely release updates less frequently (the fix for the last bug was me removing a single line of code!) so I can prevent another embarrassing release.
As I always do, I want to express my appreciation to you, my Players, for your continued support and for your patience and understanding when things "go sideways". The messages of encouragement during the last release humbled me.
IDK if RBG will ever hit "critical mass" and become an app that generates the revenues of something like "Candy Crush", but I will continue to evolve and enhance it so long as the Players are enjoying it and pressing me for more features, games, and enhancement.
If you haven't already, please consider leaving a review in the App Store to share your thoughts with folks who may stumble across RBG and need to decide whether to "check it out" or not. YOU are my best/only form of marketing and advertising.
