Help your children build a firm knowledge base for Grade 2, 3 & 4 mathematics. Never too difficult or too easy; your child will work at a personalised, optimal learning difficulty based on the award-winning adaptive MemoryLab algorithm. This app is based on the latest cognitive science and tested for optimal effectiveness, usability, and to fit classroom practices with over 500 kids aged 6 - 12 in more than 12 classrooms.

In MATH MASTERS JR., your child will practise mathematics at a difficulty level that is specifically tailored to the skill level of your child. Every learning level is optimised for long-term recollection of the times tables, using a self-testing method traditionally used in effective classroom education, enhanced with a knowledge-tracing algorithm for adaptive learning.

MemoryLab’s self-testing method is most effective at training the RAPID RECALL of “declarative” knowledge - That is, factual information. In the creation of lesson material, we combed through the COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS FOR MATHEMATICS and selected all recall-relevant material - All the factual mathematics knowledge recommended for a child in Grade 2, 3 & 4 is contained within this app, excepting geometry & measurement, which are planned to be included in a future expansion of the app.

MemoryLab’s ADAPTIVE LEARNING ALGORITHM compiles a special training lesson for the times tables that makes sure your child practises the items which need to be practised most. Based on data from levels 1 to 3 (in order / shuffled / shuffled with timer), the algorithm knows which multiplications are most likely to be forgotten, and prioritises them for review.

This app has been designed by psychologists and co-created with teachers and large publishers of secondary school materials. An earlier version has been tested in more than 12 classrooms with over 500 kids.
