Simple Comic has a variety of useful features including multi-page reading modes, a thumbnail browser, and support for both Right-to-Left and Left-to-Right reading (for manga).
Simple Comic also includes a QuickLook plugin so that your CBR/CBZ comics can be previewed within the Finder with rich icons.

Outstanding
This tiny app has exceeded my expectations.
I was looking for a simple and functional, but still well-designed app to read comic books on my macbook. Other apps seemed to be outdated, already when just regarding the visuals. Not even a dark mode was available.
From looking at the screenshots for "Simple Comics", I wasn't expecting much, as also here one might expect that there is no dark mode available (I hereby strongly suggest the developers to add some screenshots...). But see there, once installed the full functionality and beauty of the app revealed itself.
It does not include a lot of tools, but that was exactly what I was looking for - an app that opens comics in an easy, fast and undisturbed way. Big thanks and applause!!!
