We’re proud to introduce Inventory App Version 2.5, code-named Maryland. Named after the historic U.S. state, Maryland symbolizes growth, adaptability, and innovation—a fitting inspiration for this release. Known as "America in Miniature," Maryland’s diverse landscapes and vibrant history reflect our commitment to providing a comprehensive and adaptable inventory solution. Here’s what’s new:

API v2 Migration
- We’ve migrated to the second version of our API, bringing significant speed improvements. Product attributes such as price and tax have been optimized for better inventory management control.

SocketMobile SDK Update
- The SocketMobile SDK has been updated to its latest version, enhancing scanner reliability and overall functionality.

SPM Migration
- We’ve transitioned to Swift Package Manager (SPM), streamlining dependency management and removing CocoaPods for improved project efficiency.

iOS 18 Compatibility
- The app now fully supports iOS 18, ensuring seamless performance, updated compatibility, and a smoother user experience.

Theft Wastage Line
- Added "Theft" as an option in the wastage line, providing more accurate inventory tracking.

Scanner Support Fixes
- Resolved an issue where the socket scanner wasn’t working for Goods Received and Wastage. Scanning barcodes is now fully functional in these areas.

Store Display Updates
- Improved "current store" display in settings and navigation bars for better clarity and context.

Login Merchant Refresh
- Addressed an issue where merchant data wasn’t refreshed upon logging in a new merchant. Local databases are now cleared for new sessions, ensuring clean transitions.

Improved Spotcheck Titles
- Corrected title inconsistencies during spotcheck stocktakes. Uncertain states now display "Stocktake," avoiding confusion with terms like "Full" or "Partial."

Loaders on Key Actions
- Added loaders to key pages, including Goods Received and Wastage, ensuring users see activity indicators during completion actions.

Wastage Tab Appearance
- Resolved an iPad-specific visual issue where a white box appeared by default in the wastage tab bar.

New Store Error Fix
- Corrected an issue preventing stocktake submissions when adding a new store.

Landscape UI Fixes
- Fixed hidden UI elements in landscape mode, improving usability on all devices.

Product Category Alignment
- Improved UI for selecting products on smaller screens, addressing overlapping text and alignment issues.

Status Error Messaging
- Enhanced error messaging for timeouts, network issues, and sync failures. Clearer titles, actionable buttons, and descriptive messages are now included.
