Is the product you're holding legitimate? By law all relevant excisable products in Malaysia must be marked with a valid excise tax stamp mandated by JKDM. These tax stamps have a unique data and are linked to JKDM system holding information regarding each relevant excisable information.
This free app allows the public to verify the excise tax stamp and relevant excisable information. The app invites the consumer to validate the excise stamp security features and will provide access to some of the result specific to the product being scanned.
Reporting of incorrect product information can be done and like everything else in the app this is done anonymously. If you submit relevant information to the authority, you help them to combat illicit trade in Malaysia.
