The new iOS MTP App 2.0 Beta Version is here. The MTP app has been refreshed and developed to encompass exciting new features for its members, designed to facilitate and track their travels. Your feedback and patience is appreciated as we actively refine the final product over the next few weeks and make it the best it can be.
MTP is the world's largest competitive travel community, ranking the top travelers by gender, age and location. It challenges its members to expand their horizons, measure their lifetime achievements and track top restaurants, hotels, beaches, dive sites, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Completing the map is a lifetime's work and is yet to be accomplished!
SOME EXCITING FEATURES INCLUDE:
- Checklist of over 1500 MTP locations, UN recognized countries, TCC regions, dive sites, top restaurants, and hotels
- Geo-awareness of user location and automated check-in notifications based on location (both foreground & background)
- Real-time weather updates for a given location
- Currency conversion feature
- Personalized map based on the user’s photo library
- Closest locations, categorized by distance
- Worldwide rankings of MTP members, filtered by age, gender, and nationality
- Detailed location information, including member posts and photos
- Member profile and instant messaging with the community

Application stuck on “loading maps”
The application is stuck on “loading maps”, the wheel keeps on spinning. Impossible to either stop that loading process or to use any other functionality. I have deinstalled and reinstalled several times. Every time the same problem occurs.
That makes the app totally unusable.
