KNGAssist is the result of my passion for the world of technology and the desire to use it to improve accessibility for everyone, regardless of their abilities. This is the main goal of my community, KNGTech, and the world of technology we talk about, KNGWorld.
With KNGAssist you can easily create an intelligent digital avatar that, thanks to the power of the latest AI models, learns about you, supports you and draws on your personal context to help you in your daily life.

Create an intelligent assistant by defining its name, role in your life, character, preferences, personal history and behavior. Create your character as if it were part of a role-playing game, only your imagination can stop you.
Get to know each other by talking about yourself, your lifestyle, your tastes, your preferences and needs, your character and anything you want your assistant to know.
Interface designed for dialogue: the simple and effective interface of the KNGAssist app is designed for dialogue, with few buttons to activate basic functions, text or voice interaction modes and quick extensions via keywords that make interacting with your character quick and easy.
Speak naturally: activate voice mode, start recording and ask what you want to know using common words. The assistant will take care of activating its extensions if necessary.
Understand the world around you: by directly referencing the context, the assistant will be able to access additional information; for example, if you ask "What do you see on this screen?" or: "Look what's in front of me" or even: "Look at this view", he will take a picture. By directly referencing your location, it will tell you where you are and recommend nearby places. You can also get real-time information on the web, get current weather conditions and see events from your calendar.
Adapts to the context: the assistant generates responses by adapting to the information you have given it, using the personality you create for it and maintaining the context of the conversation, to always know how to best help you.
Always helps you, everywhere: voice or text mode, you choose what to use depending on what you need most. Access to web, calendar and location extensions is also available in text mode and you can import photos from your gallery or take them instantly to have what you see described. In voice mode, use the quick describe environment button to instantly know the scene in front of you; if you have activated the continuous conversation, moreover, immediately after speaking the assistant will start listening to you, so you can ask for more immediately!
Available everywhere: on your wrist with Apple Watch, at work with Mac, on the go with iPhone and iPad... no matter where you are, your AI companion is always ready to help you; you can also decide whether to always have the same assistant everywhere by copying a small file from the app settings, otherwise, create different characters for each device. The important? Have a friend always available!
KNGAssist is the expression of my way of seeing artificial intelligence and is ready to help, without judgments and prejudices, anyone who needs it. I can't wait to find out how it will change your life!

Version 1.5

KNGAssist 1.5 radically changes key parts of the app, enabling stable and long-lasting performance by resolving the persistent issues found in the previous system version. Specifically, the new features include:

1. New model: We’ve moved from an OpenAI architecture to a Google architecture, using Google Gemini as the main model for the assistant. You can choose Gemini 1.5 Flash—fast and suitable for common usage—or opt for Gemini 1.5 Pro for more advanced or detailed responses. Gemini guarantees greater smoothness, faster responsiveness, and long-term stability.

2. New setup procedure: The assistant now guides you step by step during setup, asking you the questions it needs to configure itself optimally for you and your needs. You’ll be placed in a chat with the assistant so you can freely share about yourself and your life. Then, complete KNGAssist’s configuration with the familiar screens to customize the assistant’s character and voice! A short tutorial will welcome you at the end, giving you some basic pointers on how the app works.

3. Describe your surroundings with a camera view: Now, when you tap Describe environment, the camera view and a capture button will appear so you can precisely frame what you want. If you don’t need it, you can disable it from the app settings to save time. The camera view won’t appear if you use keywords to describe your surroundings.

4. Copy the assistant’s messages, let it know if it was helpful, or report an issue: By long-pressing on a message from the assistant, you’ll see a menu that lets you copy it to the clipboard, let the assistant know if it was helpful, or open a report by directly contacting KNGWorld. We will constantly monitor your feedback to improve KNGAssist!

5. More options to personalize the assistant: In addition to personality, you now have 8 preferred communication styles to choose from. Need a friendly personality but with a direct, to-the-point tone? Select Direct. Want a more intimate friend, closely connected to you, allowing for deeper connections? Choose Intimate! Also, the companion personality is now renamed to partner, for those who need a more romantic character.

6. Completely rethought settings: We’ve reorganized the settings menu to be clearer, easier to understand, and simpler to navigate. Now each group of settings has its own menu, and some settings have been split into smaller parts so they are easier to comprehend.

7. Add accessibility preferences without altering the assistant’s character: The new Accessibility Preferences section lets you add your accessibility needs without changing the assistant’s character. In Vision, for example, you can talk about your remaining vision. In Audio, explain how you want the assistant to format messages for speech—such as removing emojis or other formatting symbols you don’t need. In Interaction, describe how you want the assistant to address elements of interest to you; for instance, if you’re blind and naturally don’t understand colors, you can have the assistant relate them to something more concrete. Accessibility settings are part of your profile and uniquely apply to all the personalities you create.

8. Removed support for Apple Watch: Due to the changes we’ve made, support for Apple Watch is currently not available. We’ll bring it back soon.
