Enchanted is chat app for LLM researchers to chat with self hosted models. Enchanted supports Ollama API and all ecosystem models. It is necessary to have a running Ollama server to use this app and specify the server endpoint in app settings. Enchanted supports streaming and latest Chat API with conversation context. You can quickly switch between your models to test your prompts. Enchanted supports Markdown, therefore tables, lists and code will be nicely formatted. The app is in early days, but had a long roadmap to be leading tool for LLM community running self hosted models.

I love it!

Thank you so much for creating this app. It's small, elegant, fast and does the job.

Too many bugs

The app looks great, integrate well with ollama out of the box and the command-option-k shortcut is a wonderful addition, but:

- You cannot easily copy the chatbot output beside the button to copy the whole LLM answer. It is not possible to select multiple lines with your mouse if you only want to copy some part of the answer.
- Writing long query in the chatbot text input does not always work.
- You cannot use command-option-k if the Enchanted windows is not open. It would be much better to have it running in the backgroud to provide this functionability at all time.
- Additionally, it would be great if Enchanted could write text in other app directly, like the handy "Fix grammar" prompt could directly fix the grammar where my text is (email client, note taking app...) instead.
