While it cannot guarantee you’ll make the perfect decision—because nothing can—it helps clear your mind by listing your considerations and their importance, as well as how each option aligns with those considerations. This way, you can understand the situation at that moment and recognize that you made the best choice you could with reasonable reasons. In most cases, this actually leads to the right decisions.
