welcome to apportunity!

apportunity is a new app designed to help and connect people in all forms of business, big or small. It enables users to share ideas, aims to provide equal opportunities for all and to remove the stigma of 'it's not what you know, it's who you know'.

the app allows users to:

1a. source investment (private equity/joint ventures etc.) by posting advertisements/business pitches consisting of photos, videos and text and connecting them with prospective investors - similar to Shark Tank/Dragons Den

1b. invest in people/businesses by reviewing these posts and contacting people to discuss further (via email, phone or in app chat)

2a. search for 9to5 employment by posting 'looking for employment' ads again including photos, videos, text and attachments (for e.g. CVs, personal statements etc.) for employers to review

2b. allows employers to source staff by reviewing these posts and contact potential employees directly

3a. post advertisements for errands that they need assistance with (e.g. dog walking, baby sitting, man with a van when moving house, mowing lawns/gardening, house and car repairs, general deliveries etc.)

3b. earn money by searching for and running these errands

4a. sell goods/services by posting ads (e.g. cars, watches, shoes, clothing, professional/freelance services such as web design, photography, project management etc.)

4b. importantly allows users to source goods/services by posting ads for what they are in the market looking for.

it is a platform designed to act as a middleman and connects people via phone, email or in app chat.
