The Toronto Zoo mobile app is your digital tour guide to learn about amazing animals from around the world and how you can help protect them. The Toronto Zoo mobile app will also help you get the most out of your visit providing assistance in navigating the Zoo, finding your favourite animals, locating restaurants, rides and gift shops, receiving notifications about events and promotions, and supporting conservation efforts through the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy. This App is must have for all Zoo visits.
Great but…
It should tell you if shops are open/closed (plus the hours), same with exhibits. Ran halfway across the zoo to get lunch, just to find out the place wasn’t open that day, so had to run all the way back.
Otherwise it’s awesome for planning routes, and checking where you are and where you want to go. Would be really cool if it would sort the planned animals to make a proper route, since right now it just puts them in a map
Great App for the Zoo!
This is like a google map for the zoo. Very convenient! I can pick where I want to go and it will show the the route and est time! Much better than the paper version, plus save trees!
One thing I would suggest is to show the current status of the animal, like off display. So then I don’t have to rush from Africa to the red panda in the last half hour and then find out they are off display due to maternity leave.
But overall, really enjoying using this app and its features!
