Description
Pair the Social Buddy App with our Social Buddy Bot App to manage the Buddy Bot.
Social Buddy is created to aid in senior healthcare, relieve caregivers and professional healthcare workers, and improve and maintain elders' independence and socialization for as long as possible. Interaction abilities often become limited due to poor voice feedback, or difficulties with touch sensitivity due to physical restrictions caused by aging. Therefore we've used cutting-edge AI technologies and applied assistive pose & face detection; for when touch is too cumbersome, responsive messaging & reminders; to support daily tasks. We've also added movement response, day/nighttime assist, a digital calendar for friends & family, and the ability to initiate conversation
The social-buddy team bases its research and application of functionalities on existing studies in healthcare and tech, to provide an all-round solution for continuous independent living. This includes working closely with the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and TU Delft.
