This is it . . . THE ONE!
Full disclosure I NEVER leave reviews, despite the fact before I purchase anything, I read all the reviews! But for this app I’m happy to take the time and share my thoughts. To begin, I’ve downloaded & deleted so many ‘slide making’ apps I’ve lost count. All of them disappointing for multiple reasons - if you’re reading this - you’ve likely had the same experience. Then I discovered this one. First and so important to me, you can add your own music! What the?! And it’s not limited to one song on repeat? Especially valuable when your slide show is longer than a few minutes. There’s also a mute option - so in the middle of your project - if you want to post a clip with audio - this app allows you to ‘turn off’ the music for that portion, so you can hear what you recorded. Then the music returns on the next slide. Are you kidding?!! Amazing!! The various styles (themes) are all fun, and very unique to each other. Again no repeats. Another huge bonus, if you add a photo / video & then change your mind you can EASILY remove it and not be forced to scrap your project & start from the beginning. How many times has this happened with other apps - so frustrating. Oh, and you can also change the order & length of how long the photo / video is viewed. This app literally checks off EVERY BOX I’ve been looking for. I can make a beautiful video in the time it takes to drink a coffee. I actually just did! lol! Family & friends think I’m a “movie genius” lol! They LOVE LOVE LOVE receiving these slide shows in lieu of a photo dump to their phones. Perhaps there are better apps out there?? But as far as I’m concerned the search is over. At the very least check it out. I ended up purchasing the subscription and have zero regrets!
Not user-friendly
I found the app lacking in basic, needed, “how-to” information. Importing photos and videos took a lot of trial and error. I wasn’t able to find a way to edit a presentation after I had “published” it and discovered things out of place or needing corrections.
Maybe the app can do as I expected, but the means to do so were not at all evident.
Awesome
It is so cool to make a video with your photos in just few seconds.
