Ratings and Reviews
System Rating
The app is not one star by itself, but rather the RTD system as a whole. The app is absolutely useless if the system it links to is useless. So, why is it useless? Well, I live in a suburb and there is a single bus stop near my place. On weekends I have a few departures on Saturday and nothing at all on Sunday. Nothing! Even on Saturday the buses run two hours apart! And not even the whole day! It’s absolutely bonkers for a metro area with around 3,000,000 people! I can drive around on (free!!) highways and roads absolutely everywhere here, right up to my door, but I can’t get anywhere with public transit without walking 45 minutes to another stop. I don’t know if they’re just severely underfunded, think transit is just a fun game people do when they’re bored, or if they look down on people who use it. As it stands, it’s so bad I’m not going to stick around Denver for longer than necessary.
