The Ignite TV (Shaw) app has been updated to the Rogers Xfinity Stream(Shaw) app.
Watch Rogers Xfinity TV on the go! Whether you’re at home or on the go, you can access live TV, get On Demand content and stream Cloud PVR recordings on any device. Or, download your Cloud PVR recordings to your device and watch them anywhere.
The Rogers Xfinity Stream app is included with your Rogers Xfinity TV service. Customers with Rogers Xfinity Streaming can also use this app but the experience will differ.
Key Features:
• STREAM live TV channels on-the-go from any available WiFi or cellular connection in Canada, filter by ‘Available Out of Home’
• CHOOSE from thousands of TV shows and movies available for streaming On Demand
• WATCH saved recordings from anywhere in Canada with an internet connection, or download your Cloud PVR recordings right to your device for offline viewing
• CAST via Chromecast and AirPlay with compatible devices to watch on the big screen
• Two devices per account can actively stream on Rogers Xfinity Stream at one time
Requirements
• Reliable WiFi or cellular internet connection for video streaming and downloading
• Rogers Xfinity TV subscription to one or more eligible channels to watch live or On Demand videos
• Shaw ID and password
• Live and recorded content will only work within Canada
• Rogers Xfinity Streaming customers can also use this app but the experience will differ.

Ratings and Reviews
No longer works on Macbook
I am not too happy with this app as it no longer works on the Macbook. Initially I had it on my IPhone and it worked fine until I got a new Macbook and wanted to try it on the big screen. To my delight it worked like a charm on the Macbook. However when I updated the MAC to MAC OS Monterey it stopped working which is disappointing as I prefer streaming on the big screen. I hope this app can be updated so it can work on my Macbook again.
Air Play
Why is Air Play blocked? Why not let us use the app as we want? By putting limitations, it doesn't look good. Otherwise, great for on the go, but it still needs the ability to Air Play in order to get a better rating.
No reason for precise location
Don't upgrade, this version requires you to enable precise locations. You have no right to know exactly where I am to watch my shows on a portable device. Also with this you killed the ability for me to watch on my M1 MacBook. I pay a lot of money for this ability. I'm not always home and this was the whole point of being able to take my shows with me. Remove the precise location requirement, restore my ability to watch shows on my MacBook.
