One day is a great deal but bikes need maintenance
I would rate this lower except for the one day pass as that makes some of the trouble worth it. The pass gets you 60 minutes every time you unlock a bike or scooter. So, it’s pretty much a flat fee for the whole day! The only negative is that the app still made me deposit more money ($5) just so keep using the service (it wouldn’t use up the $5 though as each trip was still free).
However, the equipment needs some maintenance. First bike had a broken pedal. Second bike would only assist me when I didn’t need it (like downhill) but completely abandon me when going uphill or starting off. Third bike was good. Their scooters are better but many have are missing or have broken phone holders, bells that don’t work, etc.
Finally, the app won’t let you see other bikes or scooters while you have another active, which is a big inconvenience if you get a bad one.

Best ride in Florence
My husband and I downloaded the ride movi app after dinner on our last night in Florence. We rode from our dinner spot through the streets of Florence detouring our way back to the Airbnb .
The traffic was sparse and the roads were fairly open! This was a hlight during our vacation!
