MyNextbase Connect turns your Nextbase Dash Cam into a fully connected smart device whilst allowing you to easily review video recordings on your Dash Cam, download them to your phone and then share them. Links to Social media, the police and personal sharing are instantly available. Please update the Dash Cam firmware ASAP in order to get the get the best experience from the Dash Cam and the APP.
Playback – View your Dash Cam videos quickly on your phone, whilst also seeing your route and current position on GoogleMaps™. G sensor information, position, direction and journey statistics are all available to see.
Control – Adjust your Dash Cam settings from MyNextbase Connect and update the Dash Cam firmware as future improvements are released.
Emergency SOS - MyNextbase Connect also enables the revolutionary Emergency SOS feature, providing the ultimate level of security by automatically alerting the Emergency Services to your location and providing essential medical detail in the event that you are unable to call for help.
Alexa - Enjoy your journey safely and using the world’s first 1440p Dash Cam with Alexa.
You can use Alexa to play music, listen to audiobooks, hear the news, check the weather, control your smart home devices, get directions, find parking, and so much more— all whilst you keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
Alexa service compatible with 422GW and 522GW models. (Requires Bluetooth 4.2 Min)
MyNextbase Connect compatible with the 322GW, 422GW and 522GW models.

Won’t connect to iPhone
My husband loves his dashcam so we bought the exact same ones for my daughter and myself but he has a Samsung and we both have iPhones unlike his the app on our phones won’t connect with our cameras

Camera is Good, Wifi Connections keeps dropping
The wifi connection drops every time you leave the app or your phone locks. With a large memory card it’s almost like possible to retrieve files from the camera. The wifi connection needs to stay connected with the app n the background or with the phone locked
Nextbase 23.7 and ios 17.1 in iPhone 14 pro max
The camera seems to work flawlessly and always connects via Bluetooth or Wifi. The Mynextbase app is a mess. The app doesn't know the state of connection from the iPhone to the Nextbase 522gw, no matter how many times I remove the app, reinitialize the camera or delete entries under Bluetooth or Wifi for the camera. The company does not seem to understand the root cause of the issue and leaves the user hanging. I've only had the camera a week and this is a worst nightmare scenario.
