Description
The MonitorMix application for the Yamaha Digital Mixer RIVAGE PM/DM7/DM3/CL/QL/TF series allows individual wireless MIX/MATRIX/AUX mixing from iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices. Each performer can have convenient control over the MIX/MATRIX/AUX buses assigned to them, without having to deal with complex settings or parameters. They can also create personal Group settings for even easier adjustment: all levels on just one fader, for example.

Newer Apple products
The other day, after a few months away… some of the band showed up with new iPads and/or iPhones. No one on a new device could connect to the TF with the app. Me personally, my iPad from 5 years ago, great. My brand new iPhone ProMax… nope. This seems to speak to Yamaha not updating the app enough. It created a scenario where the band was borrowing older devices from various IATSE guys for the gig. Not ideal. Yamaha, it’s a good product. Stay on top of it.
Apple devices won’t connect!
App is not prompting for permission to access devices on local network. Will spin forever while trying to connect. Literally unusable with current devices - please fix this app!
One small feature away from perfect
Yamaha for some reason (having spoken to support directly) refuses to continue development for this app, and I think all it needs is an option to keep the screen awake while the app is open. Otherwise this app is amazing and has saved me so much time on stage, especially being able to import configurations!
