Description
MitID is your digital ID. You use it when you want to log in, sign digitally and approve actions in various self-service solutions. If you need to approve on your mobile or tablet, you do it with a single swipe in the app. To authenticate on your computer, scan a QR code.
ACTIVATE YOUR MITID
You can activate your MitID in your app by scanning your passport/ID card or with an activation code from Borgerservice. If you have a new mobile, you can copy your MitID from your old app.
IN THE APP YOU CAN ALSO...
Check your user ID and change the mobile number you use for MitID.
HAVE A SPARE MITID
Having an extra MitID is a good idea. If you happen to lose your mobile with the app on it, you can still use MitID.

What’s New
Version 3.5.0
If you get a new phone, you can activate MitID by downloading the app and then copying your MitID from the old to the new app. You just scan a QR code in the old app with your new phone. To prevent fraud, you will be prompted to enable Bluetooth to ensure that both phones are in your possession.
In this release, a significant portion of the app has been translated into Greenlandic. We have also added the option to switch sounds on/off along with other minor fixes.

Won’t let me activate, can’t go to doctor until I do. Whoever was in charge of setting this up is clearly a lobotomy victim.
Extremely bad for non-Danish people
This is horrible and has prevented me from being able to access my pension in Denmark. Can’t believe they would let this replace nemID without it actually working
Terrible
As a non Dane, attempting to access my financial records, this is appalling bad.
The only solution I was given by the support team was to attend a Danish person office in Denmark.
I love Denmark, hate this app. Would be a zero star if I could
