Dear KENWOOD get a better app
We have a dmx125bt in our 2024 arctic fox camper. Followed the directions and this app does not work to mirror our phones. Use Car play.
Mirroring does not work
I followed the instructions to a tee, and the one function this app claims to do (mirror my iPhone X screen) does not work. I have an iPhone X with iOS 15.1
Mirroring and CarPlay capricious as hell
Dear JVCKenwood, you either have licensed the use of Carplay and iPhone mirroring or you didn’t.
IF you didn’t, don’t say so in your advertising.
If you did, offer something WAY MORE STABLE than this.
I thought I treated myself right by purchasing a DMX9707S. Boy was I wrong. Wireless CarPlay capricious as hell and wired mirroring totally non existent. Is it the app? Is it the unit? Who cares! Kenwood products are nowhere to be seen in stock, I figured you could have put resources in your software updates to improve stability during that slow year. That unit cost me 849$ cad FGS!!!
Meanwhile that cheap Chinese Podofo unit (randomly generated name probably) that I put in my son’s Hyundai Accent for 99$ mirrors perfectly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
