Description
Lift Log is the simplest and easiest to use app to track your workouts.
From the Developer:
I built Lift Log because I was displeased with all the other workout tracking apps on the App Store. Other apps made me input my routine before using the app, create workouts before recording data, and more annoying tasks that forced me to focus on the app more than on my workout. Lift Log is different. Log your sets easily and effortlessly, usually with only two taps. Reference graphs to track your progress over time. Add workouts on the fly, no need to configure anything just start lifting and start logging. Download the app and give it a try, I’m sure you’ll be happy your did.
Lift Log is built for both beginners and experts, Lift Log provides everything you need to track your progress and get stronger. Its simple and intuitive design allows you to effortlessly record your workouts as quickly as possible, so you can focus on getting in those extra reps.
Features:
- Minimalist interface, simpler than any other fitness app on the App Store
- Type in any routine and Lift Log remembers it and starts tracking it forever
- Graphs show your progress over time

What’s New
Version 2.3
HUGE updates are just around the corner!
Lift Log is easier to use than pen and paper. No setup is required — just download the app and log as you lift. Lift Log's simple filtering system allows you track your progress over time and keeps you informed. Lift Log is smart. By remembering the last exercise you performed it automatically fills in the same reps and weight as last time, allowing you to log quicker and focus on your lifts. Lift Log's simplicity keeps you off your phone so you can pump iron distraction free. If this update, we improved on Lift Log's ease of use. We also added the following:
* Removed the requirement to create an account
* iPhoneX support (long overdo)
* Icon redesign
* Dark Mode
* Added a subscription plan
* Export data for non-paying users
* Free 24/7 fitness coach via live chat
Ratings and Reviews
Simple
Works good nice simple easy to use design. Would be nice if I could edit the names of entered work outs or delete them. Also be good if I could enter distance/time for cardio workouts
A really bad joke
Got locked out of the app mid workout because I HAD to pay a SUBSCRIPTION... FOR AN UNFINISHED BOOTLEG VERSION OF NOTEPAD++!!! For the very modest sum of 10 dollars... Sorry, 10 dollars PER MONTH!!! This dude makes 100% profit with the amount of effort he put into making it (which is basically none). I’d rather pay 10 bucks to remove that last remaining star than to give it to this clown.
Good App! I have some suggestions
Simple and easy to use for quick workout setup but missing some things…
Here’s some things I wish it included:
1 - A way to add quick notes per exercise that showed up in the summary table next to the weight/rep column.
i.e. “Seated Row” “115 lbs x 15 reps” “@ level 3”
This way we don’t have to make different exercise names for the different intensity levels of one exercise.
2 - The added exercise should show up on the day that was last selected. We shouldn’t have to choose the date every single time.
i.e. On Jan 1, you are inputting your workout that you did on Dec. 31. You go to select Dec. 31st and add your first exercise, the leg press. The first set shows up in Dec. 31 but when you click “+” to add the second set, it shoves you back to “Today”. It should keep you on Dec. 31 without having to select it every single time as it was your latest selection.
3 - Option to edit/delete exercise names.
4 - Have an inventory of exercises built into the app so we don’t have to write out the whole exercise.
Things I really like:
1 - The “redo” button. It’s convenient to have the option to add a quick repeat set!
2 - The list format. Good to be able to scroll through quickly between days.
