Description
Seedlang's focus is on improving your German speaking and listening skills. We do this by building interactive experiences using videos of native speakers.
We‘ve built this app in a partnership with the Easy German Youtube channel and have a strong focus on teaching German with real people and authentic language.

Ratings and Reviews
The best app for German learners
I've tried most apps, and this one is by far the best and most comprehensive. My favourite feature is that once you have reached an intermediate level, this app still offers challenges and is fun to use. You'll be blown away by how much effort they've put into Seedlang - hopefully they duplicate this method for other languages. Also a great accessory to Easy German videos, and even the conversation club if you are looking to practice speaking.
Great content, still a bit buggy as an app
The learning material is fantastic, I really like their approach.
The app is still rather quirky and has some bugs, but nothing that’s too bad. For instance, it always uses the microphone on my iPhone when I’m using my AirPods (this doesn’t happen with my wired headphones).
The review counter sometimes bugs out for me, showing an incorrect number of review items, and sometimes when I discard a voice recording, it lags out trying to record my voice the next time.

Truly effective for learning German
I used Duolingo for some time and it was not that great. But after only a few months of Seedlang, I feel pretty comfortable speaking at a basic level with my German colleagues, and I have not even finished the foundation level yet (almost! ;-)) I highly recommend this app if you are serious about learning German. You should also check out the Easy German channel on YouTube.
