Ratings and Reviews
Expensive with little content
The price is massive for such little content.
No Japanese or English subtitles for a majority of the content and little customer support. Truly awful.
Inclusivity for deaf people in Japan is laughable
How insulting does NHK have to be to Japanese people who are hearing impaired that they don’t include Japanese subtitles in the on demand programs? There is legitimately no excuse not to. You can not provide an excuse because it’s inexcusable.
Poor contents
NHK replaced Dlibrary with this Jme and supposedly to be better but turns out to be worse! Lot less contents and layout is no more better than Dlibrary. Released dates on most movies are lies. Put the released date more recent than it was. Any Japanese or even non Japanese easily knows find out. This is stupid. Dlibrary at least had some with subtitles but this one no mention and no subtitles of any. To make things worse NHK dares to charge almost three times the subscription than Dlibrary. Unjustified.
