Outdated

The app itself does still work, but has not been updated to the newer widget APIs so the widget is no longer available on ios18. An unpleasant surprise.

Works ... but could use some improvements

I use this app with my Harmony Hub mainly to fire up my home theatre setup before I go downstairs to watch something, and also when sometimes the timing when turning on is off and it doesn’t wait long enough to switch inputs (and therefore the attempted switch is unsuccessful). However, my main issue with it is that it gets stuck on the last mode or “activity” that I started, so if I shut everything off for the night with the remote, the next day, the app has no idea that everything is off and stuck on the last activity that I started, and there’s no way to wake it up or make it refresh to realize that everything is off again, so the only way around it is to swipe the app away and restart it. Not the end of the world, but annoying and you’d think there would be a way for it to read the current state of the system. One would think that wouldn’t be too hard, no?

Worst app ever

Wow this app doesn’t work at all. They released a new version recently and it’s still not working properly on iOS 11. Love the remote but the app version is deceiving
