Great App
Just like a pager.. Except mine is like a 30 second delay from my pager to the text on my phone. Works great
The app has deteriorated
Since the latest update, the app has deteriorated severely the original app allowed volume control for the alert when an alert was sent out. Another feature that used to be available was disconnecting the app from a Bluetooth to vehicle connection. Now the only way this can be done is to go to streaming then disconnect and return the the call that is in display. My phone for some reason had the app removed, so reinstalled the app, now I have no control of alert volume. This is not a good way to have this as now there is not a way to minimize the interruption of a night call or a meeting. This has made the app less appealing for use. I hope this gets revised quickly.
Getting better and better
The new availability feature is great. The only thing that would kick this app up a notch is a geofencing feature that would automatically set you to unavailable when you leave a certain radius of the FD. Ultimately you are still depending on guys to remember to update their status constantly as they go about their daily lives otherwise. Great work.
