DRT operates On Demand throughout the rural areas of Durham Region, and at urban bus stops more than a 10-minute walk from an operating bus route. Trips offered through On Demand are designed to connect customers with scheduled buses for onward travel, where available.

Stop-to-stop in urban areas of Durham Region and will meet you at your curb or the end of your driveway in rural areas. The scheduling system matches people headed in the same direction. This means we can keep wait times down and service hours up.

Drivers are kind and respectful. It is easy to have a conversation with them. They get me to my destination on time!
So ridiculous.
I’m grateful if I even get a ride when there is no bus but you provide a ride at 10.30 and 11.20 from bowmanville And my shift finishes at 10.40. I first have to wait for 40 minutes in cold for ride and you drop me by 11.30-40 and then you want me to get a bus from there at 12.10. How is this any helpful? And specially in cold? Really! At least have more frequent services if u only want to connect us to busses then direct dropping as before. And you come early and cancel ride in 2 minutes. Why!

Most unreliable transportation service ever. Why do I have to connect to a bus in a completely different town (which would take over an hour) to get to my destination which is only normally a 15 minute drive away. Why can’t they just pick me up at my house and, yknow, just bring me right to my destination like they always used to instead of making it so convoluted and inconvenient? Really annoying.
