Very Good and Useful
I am a g'ma and never thought of teaching the kids their telephone number, etc. (bad g'ma). This app then fulfilled two goals; reminded me and taught the kids.
The kids, 6 girl and almost 4 boy, like it very much and play it over and over again, asking me to help when they forget something.
I'd like to see similar apps with different kinds of emergencies, e.g., what to do when an ambulance is needed. That is because the tempo and clarity and attraction on this one are all just right. Carry it over to different situations and it will be used.
My only most small niggle is that the children read the emergency number as nine, dash, one, dash. one dash. I heard of a child who frantically searched the telephone keypad once for the *11* button, to no avail. I wouldn't want these tech-savvy little urchins to do the same with the dash. So remove the dashes and it gets a five.
Compatibility problem
This is a remarkable teaching tool, it helps to address the teaching points of NFPA Learn not to burn with young learners!
It needs to work with IOS 11
Separate fire police and EMS calls would also be a great next step!
Doesn't work with iOS 11
It hasn't been updated to work with the latest iOS, so there is no sound, which is 80% of the practicing!
