Chet is a music education app with a focus on ear training and music theory. Learn at your own pace, play musical games, and compete against others from around the world!

Its such a great combination of addictive gameplay and clear design. I use it myself. It’s fun! If you master all the categories in this app you will have great ears! Try plugging in a midi keyboard for additional fun. So much care and thought goes into this app and it really shows.

FINALLY, THANK YOU! This is exactly the kind of tool I have been looking for. I wish I came across this app sooner. I play guitar not piano, but since I’ve got a mind for theory and an orientation of the fretboard this is still very, very useful! It’s also FUN! Did I mention practical? It shouldn’t matter what instrument you actually play because the keyboard is universal and this app is just what a musician needs. The design is clean and pretty, and the app works efficiently. It doesn’t even waste your time or space with ugly ads. THIS APP IS HIGH QUALITY AND FREE! Are you kidding me?! Just download it and see for yourself because you literally have nothing to lose! Well done, developers. Thanks again for soothing my musical soul. BRAVO!

UPDATE (9/28/21): Hey! Guitar is now available on the app store! You can change instruments by going to users settings —> instrument —> guitar. We’ll be updating it with improvements in future versions, so feel free to send in any feedback to support+chet@hirshgroup.com
