This is a subscription based app

Folks, do not be alarmed by the negative reviews. I use lightroom on a regular basis, and having it obtained through Mac App store instead of Creative Cloud just means one less app running in the background. I hope Adobe brings Photoshop also to the Mac App Store when the bring it to the iOS and iPadOS app stores. Regarding the other viewers who have provided negative reviews…the desktop version costs money. Monthly it’s about $10 USD. The free version (which is limited in terms of features) is available on the iOS store and while the free version will help you organize your photos in a catalog, the edit functions are disabled. However, if you’re subscribed to Lightroom, then all desktop, smartphone, tablet, web…all are included in that price and all come with full functionality!
