Useful, Lacking in Some Features
After some testing with the app, it seems to work well enough. The controls for rotating the models are easy enough to get the gist of.
Models do load in, and so do the albedo textures, but I’m not too sure about normal maps. I loaded in a model with fairly subtle normal maps, but because it was subtle, I couldn’t tell for sure if they actually loaded in.
If I were to suggest things for later versions, they’d be normal map support (if it isn’t already implemented.), fixes for bugged out textures (the textures for the included car model are bugged in a few areas.), and minor improvements to the camera controls. Sometimes using two fingers to pan can be a bit buggy.
Other than that, it’s a great app!
App won’t open 3mf files
The app won’t open 3mf files. It is useless.
